Consumer Profiling


How well do you know your website users? Have you done any research to identify the key characteristics, interests and requirements of your key users? Did you carry out a user profiling exercise at the beginning of your site development?

User profiling is the identification of the type of users that a website is designed for. It distinguishes those key user characteristics - age, education, interests, background knowledge that impact the site design and it effectives in carrying out the purpose of the site.
