The general interpretation of an open and untamed source of information like the World Wide Web (WWW) requires a systematic review of actions. Many of these actions are observed through a data acquisition which is then retrospectively diagnosed in much the same way as a Doctor considers illness in a person. A Doctor will question the patient in the hope that their symptoms will create the basis for a hypothesis on the nature of the sickness and allow an initial diagnosis. Diagnostic methods operate in the same way, various hypothesis are created from activity. These hypothesis form a picture of the activity which can then be diagnosed from known activities or be retested to discover new or modified types of activity.
